Lancaster, PA- The offensive woe's continued for the women's basketball team, on Monday night's 70-40 loss to Mt. Aloysius College, shooting 20% from the field. In addition, the Chargers didn't have a scorer reach the double figure mark.
The Mounties took control early going up 20-5 to start the game and never looked back. On their way to the 30 point victory, Mt. Aloysius had four players score in double figures. At the top of the list was Amanda Rieg with a game high 16 points.
The Chargers never gave themselves a chance, turning the ball over 31 times while shooting a dismal 17.1% from the floor in the second half. Vanessa Clemenson (The Dalles, OR) led the team with eight points and seven rebounds both season highs.
The Chargers try to stop their current losing streak at two, Saturday when they host regional rival Philadelphia Biblical University at 1:00 PM.
