Arlington, VA- The Chargers dropped to 7-13 on the season with their 76-58 loss to Marymount University Monday night. The Chargers advantage on the free throw line, going 18-22 compared to the Saints 8-14, was overshadowed by Marymount's inside presence.
Lancaster held a three point lead at the 18:04 mark but was outscored 13-0 in the next five minutes to fall behind 15-5, on their way to a 36-24 deficit at the break. The second half was played even with the exception of the Saints 6-0 run to start the half.
Sophomore, Kevin Keltner (Menomonee Falls, WI) led the Chargers with a game high 14 points. Classmate, Eric Nulf (Fayetteville, NC) chipped in with 12 points and five rebounds. Ronnie Barbour led Marymount with 14 points and Sam Sentz had 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The Chargers look to bounce back on Wednesday when they travel to La Plume to face Keystone College, tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
