La Plume, PA- A good effort in one half does not make a good game as the Chargers were handed a distasteful loss by Keystone College, Wednesday night. The Chargers entered intermission trailing by only eight 29-21 and had controlled the boards, but turnovers would be the downfall for the men's team. A rare lackadaisical effort by the team in the second half, allowed the Giants 59 points for the lopsided final 88-53.
Kyle Keltner (Menomonee Falls, WI) had a team high 11 points for the Chargers off the bench. Freshman, Colin Cooper (Eliot, ME) pulled down eight rebounds and added eight points. Reserve freshman, Madison Warfel (Greenwood, DE) dished out a personal best, and game high six assists in 17 minutes. Spencer Lunger led Keystone with a game high 19 points.
The Chargers look to bounce back on Friday when they face East Region opponent Davis College at home. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
