Chargers Upset Davis in Semi-Final

Binghamton, NY- The Chargers took control early and never let up in the 79-64 upset win over the number two seed, Davis College. The win advances the Chargers to the East Region Championship game at Valley Forge Christian College. This will be the Chargers second appearance in the regional championship in the last three years.

Lancaster jumped on the host Falcons quickly, going up 12-2 to start the game. Behind Billy Harrison's (Douglasville, PA) 14 first half points the Chargers were able to keep the pressure on, taking a 46-30 into the break after leading by as many as 21.

The Chargers weathered Davis College's comeback attempt at the beginning of the second half, never letting the Falcons closer than six points. Lancaster's defense was the story of the game holding their opponents to a notable 26.4% shooting for the game and a more impressive 19.0% from behind the arc. The Chargers took full advantage of the Falcons poor shooting connecting on over 43% of their shots from the floor.

Billy Harrison, in what could have been the last game of his career, led the Chargers with 21 points hitting going 9-18 from the floor. Sophomore, Kevin Keltner (Menomonee, Falls, WI) did a little bit of everything recording 13 points, nine rebounds, and five assists. Inside, Carl Edwards (Baltimore, MD) dropped 13 points. Eric Nulf (Fayetteville, NC) contributed with nine points and nine rebounds.

The Chargers face Valley Forge Christian College in the regional championship on Saturday at 3:00 PM.
