Lancaster, PA- On Saturday, the Chargers started the day off with a quick three set victory over SUNY IT, but were unable to keep the momentum going falling to New Jersey City University in four sets. Sophomore outside hitter, Jake Harbold (Maing Chai Thailand) had a big day for the Chargers logging a pair of double-doubles with 23 kills and 23 digs on the day.
Against SUNY IT the Chargers were firing on all cylinders connecting on 43 of their 84 swings for a .381 attacking percentage. Setter, Ben Bewley (Lancaster, PA) had a hand in Lancaster's hitting success recording 36 assists. Outside hitters Jason Glerum (York, PA) and Jake Harbold led the Chargers with 12 and 11 kills respectively.
Unable to keep up the offensive productivity against the Gothic Knights, Lancaster turned up the defense scoring seven blocks and 49 digs. Brandon Boosz (Canton, OH) and Stephen Osborne (Coatesville, PA) headed up the Charger defense with 16 digs and 2.5 blocks respectively.
The Chargers end the regular season with a record of 7-14.
