With another busy week on tap for the Lancaster Bible College women's volleyball team, they wanted to make their trip to Valley Forge Christian as painless as possible on Monday.
Mission Accomplished.
Playing stellar defense and limiting their errors, the Chargers easily handled the Patriots, 3-0. LBC won, 25-7, 25-6, 25-9.
Peggy Compton had 11 kills to lead the Chargers, while
Christina McLaughlin added three kills.
Lauren Hurd had seven more aces for the Chargers, while
Naomi Martin had an ace and two digs.
"We played very consistently tonight," LBC Head Coach
Lauren Bewley said. "We are excited for the rest of our week and it was good that this was a short trip tonight. That will help us for the rest of the week."
The Chargers (9-12) face Wesley College and Washington [Md.] College on Wednesday in Dover, Del.
