Lacy McClaine had 14 of her 16 points in the first half as the Lancaster Bible College women's basketball team jumped on host Davis early and cruised to a 68-43 victory.
Meredith Wrightson had 14 points, while senior
Kelly Long had 10 points.
"Our defensive pressure and offensive transition overpowered [Davis]," Charger Head Coach Bob Shannon said. "I thought we played a strong overall game."
The Chargers (4-16) have won two of their last three games. They defeated Davis on December 5 by a score of 79-39. Friday marked the first road win of the season for the Chargers as well.
LBC is back in action on Monday when they host Mount Aloysius at 6:00 p.m. The Chargers lost to the Mounties 84-60 in Cresson, Pa. on January 11.
Monday will also mark Breast Cancer Awareness Night at LBC. Those attending the game are asked to wear pink to show their support for those who have battled breast cancer.
