Both the men's and women's Lancaster Bible College basketball teams will trek down the Pennsylvania Turnpike tonight to renew their battle with Valley Forge Christian College. The Patriots have had the advantage in both of the series lately, something both LBC teams would like to see end this evening.
Women's Notes (6:00 p.m.):
-LBC leads the all-time series 38-31 dating back to their first meeting during the 1974-75 season.
-The Patriots have won six of the last nine meetings, including all three last season...VFCC handled the Chargers 59-40 in Lancaster in January and won a thriller in double overtime, 69-67 in Phoenixville...The Patriots won again two weeks later in the NCCAA East Region Semi-Finals, jumping out to a 21-0 lead and winning 65-46.
-The Chargers have lost their last four games in Phoenixville.
-LBC is 6-9 entering the game, including 4-4 on the road...VFCC is 10-9 and 2-2 at The Pit.
