Last Meeting: January 22, 2007, Lancaster, Pa. - The Chargers defeated the Phoenix, 57-27 behind 19 points from Becky Martin. Steph Arnold added 12 points for the Chargers who moved to 6-11 with the win, en route to an 11-15 finish that season.
LBC This Season: The Chargers won their first game of 2011-12 last Thursday with a 54-49 victory over Gallaudet...The win was also the first NEAC win in program history...Lauren Heliger had a game-high 21 points, while Emily Lloyd added 11 points and 14 rebounds...Heliger continues to lead the squad in scoring, averaging 14.7 points per game...Lloyd (9.7 rpg) and Sarah Heilenman (8.0 rpg) have been the Chargers' best rebounders as LBC is averaging 38.2 rebounds per game...LBC will fly to Walla Walla, Washington on Thursday afternoon for their two games this weekend against Whitman and Whitworth...The two games this weekend will be the first time the LBC women's basketball team has played west of the Mississippi River since the 2002-03 season when they made the NCCAA National Tournament at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri.
Wilson This Season: The Phoenix are 0-4 this season...Wednesday will be their first NEAC game of the season, while LBC is already 1-1...Tara Fields leads Wilson with 19.3 points per game, while Vanessa Whitfield is averaging 15.5 points per game and 10.3 rebounds per game.
