LBC This Season: The Chargers won their first game of 2011-12 last Thursday with a 54-49 victory over Gallaudet...The win was also the first NEAC win in program history...
Lauren Heliger had a game-high 21 points, while
Emily Lloyd added 11 points and 14 rebounds...Heliger continues to lead the squad in scoring, averaging 14.7 points per game...Lloyd (9.7 rpg) and
Sarah Heilenman (8.0 rpg) have been the Chargers' best rebounders as LBC is averaging 38.2 rebounds per game...LBC will fly to Walla Walla, Washington on Thursday afternoon for their two games this weekend against Whitman and Whitworth...The two games this weekend will be the first time the LBC women's basketball team has played west of the Mississippi River since the 2002-03 season when they made the NCCAA National Tournament at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri.
