The Philadelphia Biblical University-Lancaster Bible College basketball rivalry will be renewed two more times this evening as the Crimson Eagle women face the Chargers at 6 p.m., while the men's game will tip-off at 8 p.m.
Women's Game Notes:
-Tonight will be the 78th meeting all-time between the two schools.
-After losing eight straight to the Crimson Eagles, the Chargers have won both meetings this season...The Chargers won, 63-41 in Langhorne on December 11 and 51-35 in Lancaster on January 11.
-Five LBC players [McClaine, Karschner, Heliger, Lloyd and Clemenson] have 15 or more points in the two games combined against PBU this season. McClaine leads the way with 23 points against the Crimson Eagles this season.
-PBU's best player, Careth Herron has 14 points and 15 rebounds against the Chargers this season.
-The Chargers have shot a combined 37 percent from the floor in two games against PBU this season, while the Crimson Eagles have shot just 25 percent from the field, including 5-of-32 from beyond the arc.
-LBC has not beaten PBU in the NCCAA East Region playoffs since February 28, 2003 when they won at PBU, 47-41 to advance to the NCCAA East Region Final.
-The winner of tonight's game will face top-seeded Valley Forge Christian College on Saturday, in Phoenixville, at 2 p.m.
Men's Game Notes:
-PBU and LBC will be facing off for the 88th time tonight.
-The Chargers have won five straight against the Crimson Eagles, including last season's win in the NCCAA East Region Semi-Final, 76-52.
-These teams met only once in the regular season with the Chargers winning, 108-96 in double overtime...Jeff Bishop had 26 points and 13 boards in the loss, while
Andrew Risser had 20 points and seven boards for LBC...
Erich Graybill had 18 points and 13 rebounds, while
Madison Warfel had 15 points and nine rebounds.
-This is the final home game for LBC seniors

Kevin Keltner. Nulf is playing in his 99th career game for the Chargers, while Keltner is playing his 107th, which ties him for 5th all-time at LBC...With a win tonight, Keltner will tie LBC's Eric Lee on Saturday for 4th all-time, with his 108th game played.
