The Lancaster Bible College women's volleyball team continued their winning ways on Saturday, defeating Keystone and Washington Bible in a tri-match at LBC.
The Chargers defeated Keystone in the opening match, 3-0. LBC won, 25-5, 25-8, 25-12.
Lauren Heliger had eight kills and 11 digs, while freshman
Lauren Donato had eight kills and seven digs.
In their second match, LBC defeated Washington Bible, 3-0 [25-4, 25-6, 25-4]. Donato had 11 kills, while fellow freshman
Rachel Olson added six kills.
Lauren Hurd had six aces and
Niki Endy had two aces.
Emily Timberlake added two kills for the Chargers.
"We played well in both matches today," Chargers' Head Coach
Lauren Bewley said. "It was nice to get everyone in and we played well defensively all day."
LBC is off until Saturday when they head to Cazenovia for the first NEAC Crossover Weekend. The Chargers will play SUNY Cobleskill and Cazenovia on Saturday and Keuka on Sunday.
