The Lancaster Bible College men's and women's basketball teams will begin the second semester with a trip to Clarks Summit on Tuesday to battle Baptist Bible College. The game will be the first NCCAA East Region contest for both schools. The men's game is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m., while the women will tip-off at 6 p.m.

Last Meeting: January 8, 2011 @ LBC - LBC won, 72-59 - Kevin Keltner had 24 points and nine assists, while Madison Warfel had 17 points to lead the Chargers past the Defenders...Warfel was 5-of-8 from beyond the arc...The Chargers shot 53.2% [25-of-47] from the floor and 57.9% [11-of-19] from beyond the arc...Tommy Waszaj had 19 points to pace BBC.
LBC This Season: Inconsistent play and turnovers plagued the Chargers for much of the first semester...LBC, which is still searching for its first win, is led by Darrell Epps' 11 points per game...Epps dropped a career-high 28 points in a 76-65 loss to Lebanon Valley on December 7...The Chargers are shooting 39.1% from the field and a putrid 22.1% from beyond the arc...LBC will open the second semester looking to limit its mistakes and being more consistent on both ends of the floor...This is game four of a six-game road trip for the Chargers which will wrap up this weekend with two North Eastern Athletic Conference [NEAC] games in New York.
BBC This Season: The Defenders also enter the game searching for their first win of the season...BBC, which sports an 0-10 record, is led by Luke Peterson's 13.6 points per game...Jordan Greve is averaging 11.2 points per game as well for BBC...This is the first of three straight NCCAA East Region games for the Defenders as they will play Valley Forge Christian and Philadelphia Biblical on Thursday and Saturday respectively.

Last Meeting: January 8, 2011 @ LBC - BBC won, 61-60 - BBC's Laura Hodupp drained a jumper with 7.7 seconds left to give BBC a 61-60 victory...LBC led by four points with 56 seconds to play, but couldn't hold off the Defenders who moved to 6-3 with the win...Hodupp had 26 points for the Defenders, while Lacy McClaine led LBC with 17 points.
LBC This Season: The Chargers wrapped up the first semester with two losses in Walla Walla, Washington to Whitman and Whitworth...LBC's record stands at 2-4 overall and 2-1 in NEAC play...Lauren Heliger leads LBC with 15.7 points per game, while Emily Lloyd is averaging 9.6 points per game and seven rebounds per game...This is game five of a seven-game road trip for the Chargers that will wrap up this weekend in New York.
