Men's and Women's Basketball Teams Face Tough Tests in New York

It may be winter break, but both Lancaster Bible College basketball teams will face tough tests this weekend in upstate New York when they battle Wells College and Keuka College. The Wells men's basketball team currently sits atop the NEAC North Division Standings, while the Keuka women's basketball team is also looking down at everyone else in the North Division standings. The LBC men will be looking for their first-ever NEAC win after beginning the season 0-2 thus far in NEAC play, while the LBC women will look to extend their two-game NEAC winning streak.

LBC This Season: The Chargers cracked the win column for the first time this season with a 61-51 victory over Baptist Bible College on Tuesday...Madison Warfel had 13 points to pace LBC, while Andrew Risser added nine points...Freshman Corey Leonard had eight points and eight rebounds for the Chargers who defeated BBC for the fourth straight time...LBC is led by Darrell Epps' 11 points per game, while Benjamin Scott is averaging 4.1 rebounds per game...The Chargers are shooting 38.7% from the field and 74.1% from the free throw line.
Wells This Season: The defending NEAC Champions have lost two straight after rattling off four straight wins...The Express lost to Hamilton and Roger Williams at the Sig Makofski Tournament earlier this week...Mabior Mayen leads Wells with 15 points per game, while Terry Harrison is averaging 13.3 points and 8.1 rebounds per game...The Express average 56.8 points per game, while LBC is averaging 55.8 points per game.
