Box Score 2 The Lancaster Bible women's volleyball team spent a good amount of time in a van on Saturday, traveling to two separate locations to take on Eastern Mennonite and Shenandoah. In the process, the Chargers lost both matches, 3-1, but were able to string together some solid sets of volleyball as they prepare for the stretch run in the NEAC and NCCAA East Region playoffs.

Eastern Mennonite 3, Lancaster Bible 1
25-20, 25-20, 23-25, 25-23
Lauren Daniels had 15 kills and 14 digs, while
Lauren Heliger added 11 kills and 27 digs for the Chargers.
Grace Scheuerman added 10 kills for LBC, but the Chargers could not complete the comeback and fell to the host Royals in four sets.
Shenandoah 3, Lancaster Bible 1
19-25, 25-14, 25-20, 25-18
Heliger had 12 kills and 17 digs for LBC, while
Katie Coomber added six kills and seven digs.
Lauren Daniels had another double-double as well with 10 kills and 13 digs. Daniels also added four blocks.
"We played much better at Shenandoah than we did in the morning," Chargers' Head Coach
Lauren Bewley said. "It was nice to see us improve from one match to the other."
LBC (10-16, 5-3 NEAC) returns to the court on Tuesday when they host Goucher at 7 p.m. It will be Senior Night for the Chargers as they honor seniors,
Lauren Heliger and
Naomi Martin. Senior Night ceremonies will begin at 6:50 p.m.
