Chargers Win Regular Season Finale, Look Ahead to Playoffs

Box Score The Lancaster Bible College women's volleyball team won its regular season finale on Tuesday night, defeating Bryn Athyn, 3-0. The Chargers won, 25-20, 25-12, 25-11. 

LBC senior Lauren Heliger had a match-high seven kills to go with 12 kills as the Chargers won their fifth straight match. Lauren Daniels added six kills and 11 digs, while freshman Joanna Butala had five kills and 13 assists to go with her two aces.

Chargers' Head Coach Lauren Bewley said the team played well and the match was a great warm-up for LBC's other matches this week.

The Chargers (15-17) will host Valley Forge Christian on Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the NCCAA East Region Semi-Final. Should they win, LBC will host either Baptist Bible or Cairn in the NCCAA East Region Final at 7:00 p.m. The winner of the East Region will earn a bid to the NCCAA National Tournament which will be held in Kissimmee, Fla., November 8-10.
