With the chance of making the NEAC playoffs dwindling, the Lancaster Bible College men's basketball team will hope to start a late season run on Wednesday night when they host NEAC South Division leader, Penn St. Harrisburg. The Nittany Lions are a perfect 8-0 in NEAC play and are 15-4 overall. Lancaster Bible meanwhile will look to rebound from a heartbreaking 66-65 loss at Penn St. Berks on Saturday.

Amani Glenn had a game-high 18 points and led four Nittany Lions in double figures...Benjamin Scott had 16 points to pace the Chargers...Both teams shot terribly from beyond the arc, as the Chargers hit just two 3-pointers [2-of-12] and the Nittany Lions hit three [3-of-11]...Penn St. Harrisburg led by as many as 14 before the Chargers shrunk the deficit to four at halftime...The teams traded buckets at the beginning of the second half before Penn St. Harrisburg pulled away and won by 13.
Penn St. Harrisburg This Season: The Nittany Lions have won nine of their last ten games and are a perfect 8-0 in NEAC play...Steve Jones leads the squad with 16.1 points per game, while Kenton Alston averages 6.6 boards per game...Penn St. Harrisburg averages 82.1 points per game which is tops in the NEAC...The Nittany Lions have won 12 of their last 13 NEAC games dating back to last season with their only loss coming in the NEAC Championship Game to Wells.
Lancaster Bible This Season: LBC had its three-game winning streak snapped on Saturday as they fell to Penn St. Berks...Darrell Epps continues to lead the team in scoring with 10.8 points per game while Keith Keltner paces the squad in assists [2.2] and steals [1.7]...After Wednesday, the Chargers will have just three NEAC games remaining.


The Lancaster Bible College women's basketball team still owns a two-game lead over Penn St. Berks for the final playoff spot in the South Divison despite falling to Penn St. Berks last Saturday, 79-73. The Chargers still trail St. Elizabeth by a 1 1/2 games for the South Division second seed. Penn St. Harrisburg meanwhile is firmly entrenched in the top spot with a 9-1 record and they already own 20-point victories over St. Elizabeth and Lancaster Bible.

Daril Foose had 13 points and 17 rebounds to lead the Lady Lions past Lancaster Bible...Penn St. Harrisburg outrebounded the Chargers, 57-32 and 27 offensive rebounds to LBC's four...Lauren Heliger and Brooklyn Wilson each had 12 points for the Chargers.
Penn St. Harrisburg This Season: The Lady Lions have won six straight games and done so by an average of 29.5 points...Daril Foose leads the team with 13.3 points per game, while Dorthea Dixon averages 5.6 assists and 4.6 steals per game...This is the first of three straight road games for the Lady Lions who will travel to Cazenovia and Morrisville State this weekend.
Lancaster Bible This Season: The Chargers wrapped up the NCCAA East Region's top spot on Monday with a win over Valley Forge Christian...For the second straight game, Lauren Heliger and Brooklyn Wilson each scored 20+ points...The game also marked the second time this year that the Chargers have had more assists than turnovers...Heliger leads the team with 16.7 points per game.
