The Lancaster Bible College men's basketball team will look for its second consecutive victory at The Pit when they take on Valley Forge Christian, Thursday night in Phoenixville, Pa. The last time the Chargers were in Phoenixville, they shocked the Patriots, 64-62 to win the NCCAA East Region title. Just like last February's Region Title game, the Chargers will once again have to play well to defeat the high power Patriots who are 21-7 this season.

One of the best games in Chargers' history ended when the Patriots' half court heave fell short and the Chargers held off a late rally by the Patriots to win the East Region title and advance to the NCCAA National Tournament. A close game throughout, the Chargers'
Andrew Risser hit one of two free throws with 1.8 seconds remaining to give the Chargers a one-point cushion. After his second free throw hit the front rim, VFCC's desperate shot fell short, giving LBC the win.
Kody Koser led the team with 17 points, while
Madison Warfel had 13 points.
Kevin Keltner added 11 points and seven boards as he and fellow senior
Eric Nulf defeated the Patriots for the first time in their four years at LBC. Isaac Ransom had a team-high 14 points for Valley Forge Christian.
