NCCAA East Region Semi-Final Game Notes

For the third straight season, the Lancaster Bible College and Philadelphia Biblical University men's basketball teams will meet in the NCCAA East Region Semi-Final. The Chargers have won the previous two meetings and will look to make it three straight and advance to the NCCAA East Region Final, where top-seeded Valley Forge Christian waits.

Keith Keltner had 15 points and 12 rebounds as the Chargers used an early second half run to pull away from the Crimson Eagles and win by 10...LBC Senior Madison Warfel added 14 points and five boards as the Chargers defeated the Crimson Eagles for the sixth straight time...Seth Heinicke led all scorers with 22 points, while Adam Derus also had 14 points for PBU.
Philadelphia Biblical This Season: The Crimson Eagles have lost eight straight games and 15 of their last 16...Heinicke leads PBU with 14.1 points per game, while Derus is averaging 14.0 points per contest...Like LBC, if the Crimson Eagles lose on Wednesday night, their season will be over...PBU is searching for its first victory in Lancaster since February 15, 2007 when they defeated the Chargers, 67-61.
Lancaster Bible This Season: The Chargers have lost six straight and eight of nine coming into Wednesday's game...Eight of the Chargers' 19 losses have been by 11 points or less, including five by five points or less...Darrell Epps leads LBC with 10.3 points per game, while Warfel is second on the team with 9.6 points per game...Warfel is 40 points away from eclipsing the 1,000-point mark...Should he get 1,000 points, he will be just the 19th player in LBC history to hit the milestone.
