Dan Karl and Nate Grimley scored for the Chargers who snapped a three-game losing streak with the win. The Chargers scored three times in the opening half as Peiffer's fourth goal of the season at the 12:08 mark gave LBC a 1-0 lead.

Cooper followed nine minutes later with his second goal of the year that he knocked into an open net following
Kevin Forsyth's chip over the goalkeeper. Grimley scored his first goal of the season with 3:14 to play in the first half as he took a cross from
Stefan Smith and drilled the ball into the back of the net.

Vocature's goal came via a penalty kick midway through the second half, while Karl scored his first collegiate goal with 10:21 to play as he collected a rebound and put the ball past the Patriots' defenders and goalkeeper. Grimley's goal in the first half was also the first goal of his collegiate career.

The Chargers (5-9-2) will look to avenge their only East Region loss of the season when they face Cairn on Saturday in the NCCAA East Region Final. The Highlanders defeated Baptist Bible in Clarks Summit, Pa. on Thursday in the other East Region Semifinal. Cairn defeated the Chargers, 2-0 on Sept. 18 in Lancaster.

Saturday's game is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. at Charger Field.
