The North Eastern Athletic Conference's top women's volleyball team showed why they reside at the top of the standings each and every year as they swept Lancaster Bible, 3-0 on Monday night in Washington, D.C. The Bison won 25-21, 25-15, 25-7 as they improved to 16-10 overall and 9-0 in NEAC play. The Chargers dropped to 13-11 overall and 6-3 in NEAC play. 
The first set turned out to be the best for the Chargers as they smashed home 10 of their 17 kills and committed just four errors. It was downhill from there as Lancaster Bible had six kills and six errors in the second set and managed just one kill in the third and final set. 
Freshman 
Myranda Kemrer led the Chargers with six kills, while junior 
Hannah Derr had a team-high 13 digs and 13 assists. Seniors 
Katie Coomber and 
Amanda Maltzahn each recorded two blocks, while junior 
Grace Scheuerman had 11 digs.
Lancaster Bible continues its busy week on Wednesday when the Chargers host Lycoming at 7 p.m. It will be the first home match for Lancaster Bible since September 16. The Chargers will then host the third and final NEAC weekend of the season as they welcome five NEAC teams to Lancaster on Friday and Saturday. Lancaster Bible will face Morrisville State and Wells on Friday evening and SUNYIT on Saturday afternoon.
