For the fourth time in four years, the Lancaster Bible women's volleyball team is headed to the North Eastern Athletic Conference playoffs thanks to two great wins on their home floor as the Chargers defeated Morrisville State and Wells on Friday night in Lancaster. After clinching a playoff berth on Friday night, the Chargers came back on Saturday and defeated SUNYIT, 3-1 as they finished with a 9-3 record in NEAC play. The nine NEAC wins are a new program record as the previous record was set during the 2012 season when Lancaster Bible won eight NEAC games. Below is a quick recap of each match.

Lancaster Bible 3, Wells 219-25, 25-20, 14-25, 25-17, 16-14
The nightcap was a thriller as the Chargers battled back from 2-1 down to win their third five-set match of the season. After splitting the first two sets, Wells hammered the Chargers, 25-14 in the third and took control of the match. Things looked bleaker as the fourth set started when Wells jumped out to a 4-0 lead. The Chargers battled through the slow start and won the next five points to take a 5-4 lead and after the teams traded points, Lancaster Bible finally built a bit of a lead at 14-10. Wells cut the deficit to 14-12, but thanks to
Hannah Derr's serves, the Chargers won the next five points and took a 19-12 lead and eventually won the set, 25-17.
The fifth set was even better as it was the Chargers this time who jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead. Wells chipped away and eventually made it 5-4 Lancaster Bible, but the Chargers regained their momentum with three of the next four points and the teams switched ends with the Chargers leading 8-5. Wells would not go away and eventually tied the match at 13-13 on an attack error by Coomber. After a Lancaster Bible timeout, the Chargers won the next point and earned a match point, but Wells' Eliza Schwab tied the set at 14-14. A kill by Coomber gave the Chargers another match point and this time Lancaster Bible would not waste the opportunity as Olyvia Brazier put the ball into the net and the Chargers had their 15th win of the year.
"The team connected against Wells and we played as one unit," Lancaster Bible Head Coach
Lauren Bewley said. "We had players step up and it was great to see them raise their level when we needed it."
Junior
Joanna Butala had a career-best 15 kills and added eight digs, while Coomber had 10 more kills and 17 digs. Freshman
Myranda Kemrer had eight kills to go with her career-best 28 digs and she also added seven aces. Junior
