The Lancaster Bible men's volleyball team picked up its first win of the 2015 season on Friday afternoon as the Chargers defeated York (N.Y.), 3-0 in the opening match of the Cairn Classic in Langhorne, Pa. The Chargers defeated York (N.Y.), 25-18, 29-27, 26-24, but dropped matches to Cairn and Southern Vermont on Saturday. Below is a quick recap of each match.

25-18, 29-27, 26-24Sophomore
TJ Forsythe had a match-high 11 kills and added 11 digs, while fellow sophomore
Derek Bigley had six kills, four blocks and 10 digs. Freshman
Justin Stoltzfus also had six kills and he matched Forsythe with 11 digs as well.Â
Sha'quan Mack chipped in with six digs, while senior
Paul Fulbright had 19 assists.
Cairn 3, Lancaster Bible 0
25-13, 25-10, 25-22Lancaster Bible struggled hitting the entire match as they had just seven kills compared with 21 errors en route to the three-set loss. Stoltzfus and Fulbright each had two kills, while Bigley had a team-high seven digs.
Caleb Strite had a team-high three blocks as the Chargers fell to 0-19 all-time against the Highlanders.
Southern Vermont 3, Lancaster Bible 0
25-12, 25-17, 25-11Southern Vermont pounded home 31 kills as the Chargers dropped to 1-5 this season. Stoltzfus had a team-high five kills and added four digs for Lancaster Bible, while Bigley had three kills and five digs.
Alex Woelkers and Fulbright each had two blocks for the Chargers and
Nathan Diehl had four digs.
Following the tournament, Lancaster Bible sophomore
TJ Forsythe was named to the Cairn Classic All-Tournament Team.
Lancaster Bible returns to the court on Tuesday when they take on New Jersey City at 7 p.m. in Jersey City, N.J.
