For the fifth straight season, the Lancaster Bible women's volleyball team has advanced to the North Eastern Athletic Conference Playoffs and for the third time in those five years, the Chargers will need to defeat a team they lost to during the regular season in order to advance to the NEAC Semifinals. Lancaster Bible's quarterfinal matchup with Gallaudet on Friday night is a rematch of a five-set match from just three weeks ago when the Bison held off a late charge from Lancaster Bible and won, 3-2. 

The match from October 16 was close throughout as the Bison won, 9-25, 28-26, 25-9, 29-31, 15-12. The match featured two sets that were blowouts, as well as two sets that required extra volleyball and the deciding set that went back-and-forth. Gallaudet's Darriyan Thomas, a NEAC All-Conference 1st Team selection, was dominant in the match as she had 25 kills and 11 digs. Alyssa Bowen led Lancaster Bible with 13 kills, five blocks and three aces in the five-set loss.

Last season, Lancaster Bible saw its chance of a NEAC title end in the quarterfinals as Keuka downed the Chargers, 3-2 as the Wolfpack won the fifth and deciding set, 16-14. The Lancaster Bible - Gallaudet winner will face 2nd-seeded Wells in Saturday's NEAC Semifinals at 2:30 p.m. The other NEAC Quarterfinal features 5th-seeded Keuka taking on 4th seed Penn St. Berks. The winner of that quarterfinal will take on top seed SUNY Polytechnic on Saturday at 12 p.m. in the semifinals.
