The NCCAA Division II National Tournament begins today as all eight teams who qualified for the tournament will play this afternoon or this evening. Lancaster Bible, the number two seed, will take on 7th-seeded Ozark Christian in the day's final game at 9 p.m. this evening. The Ambassadors are the host of this year's tournament in Joplin, Missouri.

Ozark Christian enters Thursday night's game with a 14-14 record. The Ambassadors lost the first seven games of their season and bottomed out at 1-9 before picking up the pieces and finishing 13-5 in their final 18 games of the season. Ozark Christian is led by Chelsea Matlack's 16.5 points per game, while Baylee Hilton averages 14.9 points per game.

The Chargers (22-5) are appearing in the NCCAA Division II National Tournament for the second straight season. Last year, Lancaster Bible lost its opening game to Arlington Baptist, 86-82, but rebounded to defeat North Central and Ohio Christian, and earn a 5th place finish. Lancaster Bible has not played since February 28 when the Chargers lost to Morrisville State, 73-59 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference Semifinals. 

Lancaster Bible junior Aubrey Folger needs just 30 points to become the program's all-time leader in points scored as she will surpass Lauren Heliger (2009-13) who scored 1,516 points during her illustrious career. These three games will also be the final games of senior Meaghan Williams' career. 

The Chargers are 3-5 all-time at the NCCAA National Tournament as this is Lancaster Bible's fourth all-time appearance at the tournament. The Chargers also played at the NCCAA National Tournament in 1987, 2003 and 2013.
