The Lancaster Bible women's lacrosse team opened North Eastern Athletic Conference play on Friday in Morrisville, N.Y. with a loss as Morrisville State, last season's NEAC runner-up, defeated the Chargers, 22-4. The loss drops Lancaster Bible to 0-3 this season, while the Mustangs improve to 1-4.Â
Morrisville State opened the scoring just nine seconds into the game as Ally Zlinsky scored the first of her six goals to give the Mustangs a 1-0 lead. Lancaster Bible finally got onto the scoreboard with 18:39 remaining in the first half as freshman
Myranda Kemrer scored her seventh goal of the season to cut the Chargers' deficit to 5-1.Â
Morrisville State scored the next seven goals to take a 12-1 lead into halftime and outshot the Chargers, 27-4 in the first half.

Alyssa Wesner scored all three of Lancaster Bible's second half goals as she now has nine this season. Lancaster Bible goalie
Bethany Dickerson made nine saves in the loss, while
Sierra Guenst,
Bethany Conklin and Wesner each picked up two ground balls. Kemrer led the team with four ground balls.
The Chargers return to action on Saturday as they face Cazenovia at 1 p.m. in Cazenovia, N.Y.
