THe Lancaster Bible men's soccer team rebounded from its first loss of the season by defeating Summit, 5-0 on Tuesday in Clarks Summit. The victory improves the Chargers to 3-1-2 this season, while the Defenders dropped to 2-6.Â

Josiah Groff opened the scoring 5:03 into the contest as he scored his fifth goal in three games.
Spencer Lockard scored 14 minutes later to extend the Chargers lead as he headed in a pass from
Arturo Ortega Marcos.Â
The score remained 2-0 until the 33:10 mark when freshman
Brendon Dooley scored his first collegiate goal on a great play that saw him dribble through the defense and create his own scoring chance. The rout was on 1:46 later when senior
Jared Steiner scored his second goal of the year to make it 4-0 Lancaster Bible. Freshman
Caleb Nelson added the first goal of his collegiate career in the second half to cap the scoring as Lancaster Bible scored five goals in a game for the first time since October 24, 2014 when the Chargers defeated Wells, 5-1.Â

Alex Vocature picked up his second assist of the season, while Groff added an assist on Steiner's goal...Groff has six goals in six games this season and his 15 points lead the North Eastern Athletic Conference.
