The Lancaster Bible men's volleyball team dropped three North Eastern Athletic Conference matches this weekend in Keuka Park, N.Y. as the Chargers lost to the host Wolfpack, SUNY Polytechnic and Wels. Lancaster Bible is now 3-10 overall and 1-4 in NEAC play.
Keuka 3, Lancaster Bible 0
25-18, 25-23, 25-12Kasey Gentry had a team-high nine kills as the Chargers lost to weekend-host Keuka in three sets. Gentry also had both of Lancaster Bible's two service aces in the match, while
Derek Bigley had six kills, four digs and two blocks.
Sky Woelkers had a team-high three blocks to go along with this three kills.
Nicholas Wesley chipped in with a team-high eight digs and
Joshua Rotz had four kills and four digs.
SUNY Polytechnic 3, Lancaster Bible 0
25-19, 25-9, 25-17Gentry once again led the Chargers in kills with five, while Welsey had eight more digs to lead the team. Bigley chipped in with four more kills and added four blocks, while Woelkers had a team-high five blocks. Freshman
Garyd Martin had 16 assists to go with two blocks as well.
Wells 3, Lancaster Bible 0
25-10, 25-14, 25-16Lancaster Bible had just 18 kills over the three sets and Gentry had a team-high nine of them. Bigley had his fourth straight match with four kills and he also added three digs. Martin had a team-high 10 assists and added two aces, while Gentry, Woelkers and Rotz had the other Lancaster Bible aces.
Lancaster Bible returns to the court on Friday when they travel to Brooklyn, N.Y. to face Medgar Evers at 7 p.m. The Chargers defeated Medgar Evers, 3-0 on Jan. 21.Â
