Chargers Take Both Matches

The Lancaster Bible men's volleyball team won both matches today in Jamacia, NY. as the Chargers beat John Jay and York (N.Y.) those wins move the Chargers overall record to 5-10.

Kasey Gentry had a team-high seventeen kills and six digs as the Chargers won against John Jay in four sets. Garyd Martin had team highs in both aces and assists with six and thirty- four, while Derek Bigley had eleven kills. Daniel Kreider had a team-high five blocks to go along with this seven kills. Nicholas Wesley chipped in with four digs and Caleb Strite had three blocks

Timothy Meyer had a team highs in assists, aces, and digs with twelve, five, and two as the Chargers went on to beat the host York (N.Y.).  Sky Woelkers had the team high in blocks with five to go along with two digs. Nick Eberly chipped in with a team-high seven kills. As a team the Chargers able to compile seven aces compared to one for York (N.Y.).

Extra: The three match winning streak for the Chargers is the longest since the end of the 2014 season. In the first game the Chargers had a .312 hitting percentage. While in the second game the Chargers had a .145 hitting percentage.

Up Next: The Chargers return to the court on Friday as they travel to Chambersburg, PA to take on Hilbert College at 8:00 p.m.
