The Lancaster Bible men's volleyball team, heading into the weekend on a three-match winning streak, lost three times to North Eastern Athletic Conference foes at Wilson College on Friday night and Saturday afternoon as the Chargers fell to Hilbert, Medaille and D'Youville. The Chargers are now 6-13 overall and 1-7 in NEAC play.
Hilbert 3, Lancaster Bible 1
25-12, 14-25, 25-21, 25-16After dropping the first set, Lancaster Bible played well in set two, as the Chargers smashed eight kills and committed just two errors on 19 attempts. The third set was a tight one as both teams produced 10 kills, but it was Hilbert who outlasted the Chargers and won, 25-21. 
Derek Bigley led Lancaster Bible with 12 kills, while 
Kasey Gentry had 11 as the two combined for 23 of the team's 29 kills. Nick Wesley had a team-high eight digs, while 
Garyd Martin had 25 assists. Gentry and 
Caleb Strite each had two blocks for the Chargers.
Medaille 3, Lancaster Bible 0
25-12, 25-21, 25-23After a tough first set, the Chargers played well in sets two and three, but could not get over the hump against the Mavericks and lost in three sets. Lancaster Bible had 30 kills as a team and the Chargers were led by Gentry's 15 kills. Gentry's 15 kills came on 21 attacks and he had just three errors. His .571 hitting percentage is the eighth-highest in a single match in program history. Bigley added seven kills and two blocks as well for the Chargers.
D'Youville 3, Lancaster Bible 0
25-18, 25-22, 25-23Gentry and Bigley were at it again as the pair combined for 23 of Lancaster Bible's 32 kills. Gentry led the way with 12 kills, while Bigley had 11. 
Sky Woelkers added three kills and two blocks and Martin, Bigley and Gentry each had two aces. 
Nick Eberly chipped in with two kills and five digs, while 
Nicholas Wesley had a team-high nine digs.
Lancaster Bible returns to the court next Friday when they Chargers face Stevens and Marymount at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. respectively. The Chargers return home next Saturday when they host NEAC foes Penn St. Altoona and Wilson.
