The Lancaster Bible softball team, playing in The Spring Games at the National Training Center in Clermont, Fla., is 0-4 through two days of its spring break trip, though the young Chargers are continuing to improve as they look earn some early-season victories in the Sunshine State.

Arcadia 7, Lancaster Bible 2
Inside the Box Score: Lancaster Bible jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning on RBI singles from Kelsey Collins and Morgan Burkholder...Seven different Lancaster Bible players had a hit...Just four of Arcadia's runs were earned runs as the Chargers committed four errors...Lancaster Bible had seven hits, while the Knights had just six.

Inside the Box Score: Lancaster Bible once again scored first as Collins reached on an error that scored Julia D'Arrigo...The Falcons answered with two runs in the bottom half of the first and tacked on seven more runs over the next two innings to take a 9-2 lead after three innings...D'Arrigo finished 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored...Courtney Koser, Ali Morton and Richelle Kane each had a hit as well for Lancaster Bible.



Saint Mary's (Ind.) 11, Lancaster Bible 0
Inside the Box Score: Saint Mary's scored three quick runs in the first inning and then exploded for seven runs in the bottom of the third...Collins had the lone hit for Lancaster Bible and also reached base via a walk later in the game...Koser also a drew a walk for the Chargers.

Monmouth (Ill.) 8, Lancaster Bible 7
Inside the Box Score: Monmouth scored three times in the bottom of the first, but Lancaster Bible responded with two runs in the top of the third as two Monmouth errors led to the Chargers' runs...Monmouth got the runs back in the bottom half of the inning and regained its three-run lead at 5-2...The teams exchanged runs in the fifth as well as the Fighting Scots led 6-3 after five innings...Lancaster Bible had its biggest inning of the season in the top of the sixth as the Chargers scored four runs and took a 7-6 lead...Koser's triple scored D'Arrigo and Alicia Ort and an error on the play allowed Koser to score and tie the game...A passed ball later in the inning moved Samantha Denson to third and scored Collins, giving the Chargers their first lead...Monmouth tied the game in the bottom half of the inning and then won the game on an RBI single in the bottom of the seventh...Koser finished the game 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored...Zoie Senn was 1-for-2 with a run scored, while Morton was 1-for-3 with an RBI.
