The Lancaster Bible College men's soccer team lost its second straight game and first North Eastern Athletic Conference contest of the season on Saturday, as the Chargers lost to Wells, 3-2 in Aurora, N.Y. The loss drops the Chargers to 4-6-2 overall and 1-1-1 in NEAC action, while the Express are now 3-5-1 overall and 2-1 in conference play.

The Big Moments:
-Wells got on the board early, as Justin Bingham gave the home team a 1-0 lead just 4:23 into the game
-The score stayed 1-0 through halftime, but Lancaster Bible senior Justin Stoltzfus tied the game at 1-1 at the 50:14 mark, as he headed in a corner kick pass from sophomore Dan Bewersdorff
-Bingham added his second at 64:30 to give Wells a 2-1 lead
-The Express tacked on another goal at 85:37, as Junger Vargas made it 3-1 with his third goal of the season
-Senior Edward Bills got the Chargers right back into the game at 87:19, as he drilled in a free kick from just outside the box to bring the Chargers to within one goal
-Lancaster Bible had a late corner kick with 30 seconds to go, but couldn't convert

By the Numbers: Each team had nine shots, but Wells had seven shots on goal, while the Chargers had just three...Wells had nine corner kicks and Lancaster Bible had five...Senior Thiago Naque made four saves for the Chargers.

Information Hodge Podge: Lancaster Bible is now 4-3-1 all-time against Wells...The Chargers defeated Wells, 1-0 last season in Aurora, N.Y...Bills now has 23 career goals and is alone in 17th place in program history...Bills is also the third player on the team this season to crack the 10-point mark, as he joins Rama Mugisha and Caleb Nelson.
