The Lancaster Bible College men's volleyball team is heading back to the North Eastern Athletic Conference Playoffs as the Chargers won all three matches in western New York this weekend, defeating D'Youville, Medaille and Hilbert. The Chargers haven't been to the postseason since the 2014 season when the Chargers lost in the NEAC Final to SUNY Poly. The three wins this weekend improve the Chargers to 22-7 overall and 11-3 in conference play.

By the Numbers: Lancaster Bible had 37 kills to just 22 for D'Youville...The Chargers also led in digs, 37-23...Senior Derek Bigley led all players with 13 kills, while junior Kasey Gentry had eight kills and a match-high four aces...Freshman Kole Horst also had seven kills and five digs...Freshman Richard Solano had a match-high 12 digs for the Chargers.

Information Hodge Podge: Lancaster Bible is now 3-7 all-time against D'Youville...The Chargers defeated D'Youville, 3-1 in Lancaster on Feb. 17.

By the Numbers: Medaille actually had more kills than Lancaster Bible as the Mavericks had 33 to the Chargers 32...The Chargers had eight blocks, while Medaille had just two...Sophomore Daniel Kreider led the Chargers with 11 kills and four blocks...Gentry had nine kills, three blocks and six digs...Freshman Kaleb Ansell had a kill and an ace to go along with 30 assists...Solano once again led everyone with nine digs.

Information Hodge Podge: Lancaster Bible is now 2-7 all-time against Medaille, with both wins coming this season...The Chargers defeated the Mavericks, 3-2 on Feb. 18 in Lancaster.

By the Numbers: Lancaster Bible had 35 kills, while Hilbert had just 17 and committed 25 errors...Gentry had nine kills to lead Lancaster Bible and also had four more aces...Kreider had eight kills and three blocks, while freshman Jacob Faust had three kills and a block...Sky Woelkers and Bigley each had four kills.

Information Hodge Podge: Lancaster Bible is now 3-6 all-time against Hilbert...The Chargers defeated the Hawks, 3-0 on Feb. 17...Prior to this season, Lancaster Bible had not beaten D'Youville, Medaille and Hilbert in each of the first two seasons the teams were part of the NEAC...This season, Lancaster Bible went 6-0 against the three teams...The Chargers are currently in second place in the NEAC Standings with two conference matches to play.
