Chargers Split Tri-Match at Wilson

The Lancaster Bible College men's volleyball team had an up and down Saturday as the Chargers set a program-record for consecutive wins, and then lost a matchup against the other top team in the North Eastern Athletic Conference. The Chargers defeated Wilson, 3-1 in the opening match, securing their eighth straight victory and then lost, 3-1 to Penn St. Altoona as the top two teams in the conference met for the first time this season. Lancaster Bible is now 16-6 overall and 6-2 in conference play.

By the Numbers: Lancaster Bible had 49 kills, while Wilson had 44...The Chargers had just 16 errors in the four sets and had a .260 attack percentage...Senior Derek Bigley had a team-high 15 kills and added five digs, while junior Kasey Gentry had 12 kills, 19 digs and five blocks...Sophomore Daniel Kreider had 11 kills and five blocks...Freshman Kaleb Ansell had 40 assists and five digs, while fellow freshman Kole Horst had nine kills, eight digs, two blocks and two aces...Freshman Richard Solano chipped in with 16 digs.

Information Hodge Podge: Lancaster Bible is now 4-0 all-time against Wilson...The .260 attack percentage marked the eighth time this season Lancaster Bible has had a .260 attack percentage or higher...The eight straight wins break the previous record of seven, set earlier this season.
