The Lancaster Bible College softball team wrapped up its season on Saturday by celebrating its two seniors as the Chargers lost twice to Penn St. Berks at Charger Field. The teams played a tight first game as the Nittany Lions won, 1-0 and Penn St. Berks showed why they have now won 19 straight games as they cruised to a 9-0 victory in game two.
Lancaster Bible ends the season with an overall record of 9-27, while the Chargers finished 5-15 in North Eastern Athletic Conference play. Penn St. Berks is now 23-7 overall and 17-1 in NEAC play.

Game Notes: Game one was a pitcher's duel as Lancaster Bible senior
Julia D'Arrigo and Penn St. Berks' Jess Rozick went back-and-forth for seven innings...Scoreless after six innings, the Nittany Lions finally broke through in the top of the seventh and made the run stand up as the game winner...D'Arrigo allowed just four hits and struck out three, while Rozick gave up three hits and struck out eight.
