The Lancaster Bible College women's lacrosse team celebrated Senior Day on Saturday, but the Chargers were unable to defeat one of the North Eastern Athletic Conference's top teams, as Lancaster Bible fell to Medaille, 17-7 at Charger Field. Lancaster Bible is now 4-6 overall and 1-3 in NEAC play, while the Mavericks improved to 8-1 overall and 2-1 in conference play.

Hannah Thompson opened the scoring as she netted her 22nd of the season 2:26 into the contest to give the Chargers an early advantage. Kelsey Beres scored the first of her five goals less than two minutes later to knot the score at 1-1, but the Chargers reclaimed the lead 2:12 later on senior
Alyssa Wesner's first goal of the day.Â
Medaille took over from there as the Mavericks scored nine of the next 10 goals of the game, including four straight after Wesner scored for the Chargers. Trailing, 5-2, Wesner scored again for the Chargers on a feed from
Hope Privitera as the goal was Wesner's 60th of the season. Wesner's goal with 14:24 remaining would be the final goal of the half for Lancaster Bible as Medaille tallied the final five goals of the opening 30 minutes.
Down 10-3 at halftime, Lancaster Bible netted the first two goals of the second half as junior
Myranda Kemrer scored 1:48 into the half and senior
Katy Stover followed almost six minutes later to make it a 10-5 game. After a Medaille timeout, the Mavericks scored three straight goals to take a 13-5 lead with 18:35 to play.Â

Barb Foster scored 2:31 later to cut the Chargers' deficit to 13-6, but Lancaster Bible wouldn't get any closer and lost for the third time at Charger Field this season.
