The Lancaster Bible College women's soccer team cracked the win column for the first time in 2017 on Wednesday, as the Chargers cruised past Regent, 8-0 at Charger Field. The Chargers are now 1-5 this season, while the Royals dropped to 0-4.
How it Happened: Lancaster Bible scored early and often on Wednesday as sophomore
Kate Spiezio opened the scoring at 4:01 with the first collegiate goal of her career on a pass from freshman
Madison Miller. Sophomore
Maddie Dionne doubled the Chargers' lead to 2-0 just 1:32 later as she intercepted a pass and drove the ball inside the right post for her first goal of the year.
Spiezio scored again just 47 seconds after Dionne's goal as she headed in a corner kick from senior
Rachel Kumher. Miller netted her first collegiate goal at 13:26, as she took a pass from sophomore
Joy Trumbull and scored into the back of the net.
Junior Kiersten Hatch capped the first half scoring at 30:02 as she knocked a ball in off a corner kick from Kumher, who picked up her second assist of the half.

Danni DeVinney opened the second half scoring at 57:54, as she connected with fellow sophomore
Maggie Arnold on a pretty give-and-go play that made it 6-0 in favor of the Chargers. Hatch scored again at 70:18, as she pounced on a rebound and put the Chargers up by a touchdown. Freshman
Jane Dietrich scored the final goal of the day for Lancaster Bible at 85:56, as she took a pass from senior
Raegan Horst and scored past the diving Regent goalkeeper.
