Lancaster Bible 3, Valley Forge 0
25-22, 25-21, 25-16

How it Happened: A tight match the whole way through, Lancaster Bible jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the first set, only to see Valley Forge storm back and grab a 12-11 lead after winning six of eight points. Valley Forge eventually led, 19-16, but four straight points from the Chargers made it 20-19 in favor of the home team. The Patriots tied the match at 21-21, but Lancaster Bible won four of the final five points, two of which came on service aces, to take the opening set, 25-22.

The Chargers trailed 4-2 early in the second set, but rattled off nine of the next 10 points to take an 11-5 lead. Once again though, Valley Forge hung around and won six of seven points to take a 17-16 advantage. It was then Lancaster Bible's turn to make a run, as the Chargers won six of seven points and took a 22-18 lead on a block assist from Ashtyn Bouslog and Bekah Roberts. Valley Forge cut its deficit to two, 23-21, but Lancaster Bible won the final two points on a kill from Roberts, followed by an ace from senior Myranda Kemrer.

Lancaster Bible trailed, 7-5 in the third set before winning 10 of 13 points and grabbed a 15-10 advantage. The Patriots tried to get back into the set and trailed just 17-15 before the Chargers strung together six straight points and took a commanding 23-15 lead. Lancaster Bible used another big run later in the set, winning 10 of 11 points to take a 19-11 lead and never looked back, taking the first set, 25-16.

The Mounties took a page out of Lancaster Bible's book in the second set and used big scoring runs to take control of the set. Mount Aloysius earned 11 of 14 points midway through the set and took an 18-12 lead and eventually won the set, 25-17.

The third set went back-and-forth, as neither team could pull away. Lancaster Bible trailed 15-11 midway through the set, but won seven of eight points and grabbed an 18-16 lead on a block assist fy Allison Shuey and Bekah Roberts. The Chargers would take 24-21 lead on a kill from Aleah Heyworth and looked poised to win the third set, but Mount Aloysius hung tough and used two kills, and a Lancaster Bible error to knot the score at 24-24. After a service ace from the Mounties' Sarah Fisher, the Chargers called timeout, trailing by one, but it didn't help and an error on the next play from Lancaster Bible gave Mount Aloysius the set.

The fourth set was much like the third as neither team could gain a large advantage throughout the set. With the match tied at 19-19, Lancaster Bible rattled off five straight points, and took a 24-19 lead.
