The Lancaster Bible College field hockey team suffered its seventh straight loss on Tuesday night, falling to Notre Dame (Md.), 9-0 at Donald H. Funk Field. The loss drops the Chargers to 0-7 overall this season, while the Gators improved to 2-6.

Game Recap: Much of the opening 10 minutes of the game was played in the midfield, though the Gators began to take control of the possession at the 10-minute mark. Notre Dame (Md.) was rewarded for its possession at 17:39, when Vanessa Dunn gained control of the ball and scored to the short side of the net.

Notre Dame (Md.) kept control of much of the play throughout the first half, and Dunn scored again at 33:41, as she took a crossing pass from Kelsey Campbell and scored into an open net. The Gators then earned a corner with no time remaining in the first half, and scored with no time on the clock, as Jessica Wells tipped in Megan Morales' shot, and gave Notre Dame (Md.) a 3-0 halftime advantage.

The Gators began the second half like the finished the first, and scored twice in the opening 3:06 of the second frame, as Kelsey Campbell and Morales netted goals. Morales scored again at 42:09, and Licia Marcano made it 7-0 at 43:33.

Campbell picked up another goal at 52:27, and Dunn completed the hat trick at 63:42 to cap the scoring.
