The Lancaster Bible College women's soccer team celebrated Senior Night on Wednesday evening in Lancaster, but one senior,
Maddie Dionne, had a game she'll never forget, as the four-year starter recorded her first career hat trick, propelling the Chargers to a 7-0 victory over Gallaudet at Donald H. Funk Field.

Dionne entered the game, the 78th of her career, with three career goals, and by the 48th minute, she had matched her career total, as the Chargers ended the regular season with a 7-6-1 overall record, and a 6-3-2 mark in North Eastern Athletic Conference play.

Game Recap: After a slow first 10 minutes, Lancaster Bible began to apply more pressure in the 11th minute, as
Bryanna Hoover and
Sarah Kumher recorded back-to-back shots. Dionne's first goal of the game came at 15:49, as she took a through ball from
Madison Miller, and scored on a breakaway.

Gallaudet responded with two corner kicks and a shot that was blocked, but Dionne was at it again at 23:33, as she took a pass from
Bryanna Hoover, and deposited the ball into the lower right-hand corner for her third goal of the season.

The game went to halftime with the same score, though the Chargers dominated the second half of the opening 45 minutes. The domination continued into the second half, as Dionne completed the hat trick at 48:47, as she again took a pass from Hoover and scored past Gallaudet goalkeeper Silvya Levesque.

Junior
Maggie Arnold scored 57 seconds later, and
Sam Koons drilled a ball from 30 yards out 1:44 after that, and the rout was on at the Donald H. Funk Field.

Arnold's second goal of the game came at 57:52, off yet another assist from Hoover, and then Hoover added a goal of her own at 68:27 to cap the scoring.

By the Numbers: Lancaster Bible outshot the Bison, 25-5, including 15-1 in shots on goal…Arnold's goals give her six for the season, while Hoover's goal was also the sixth of her season…All three of Lancaster Bible goalkeepers,
Erin Mikula,
Rheeana Miles and
Kendra Brown played, as Mikula earned her sixth win of the season.
