The Lancaster Bible College men's volleyball team won its second and third straight matches on Saturday in Reading, Pa., as the Chargers defeated Wentworth Institute of Technology and Alvernia. The Chargers defeated the Leopards, 3-0, before downing the Golden Wolves, 3-1. Lancaster Bible is now 13-4 this season.

By the Numbers: Lancaster Bible had 37 kills and 21 errors on 86 attempts for an 18.7 hitting percentage, while the Leopards had 32 kills and 17 errors on 85 attempts for a 17.6 hitting percentage...The Chargers also held a 31-26 edge in digs, and a 7-5 advantage in aces...Lancaster Bible junior Nate Miller had a match-high 14 kills, and added five digs...Sophomore Kole Horst had a strong match with eight kills, five aces and four blocks...Junior Daniel Kreider added seven kills, while senior Kasey Gentry had four kills and eight digs.

Information Hodge Podge: Lancaster Bible is now 2-1 all-time against Wentworth...The three-set sweep was the seventh of the season for the Chargers.

By the Numbers: Lancaster Bible had 49 kills and 17 errors on 115 attempts for a 27.8 hitting percentage, and Alvernia had 38 kills and 22 errors on 120 attempts for a 13.3 hitting percentage...The Chargers held a 53-46 edge in digs...Horst led the Chargers with 19 kills and eight digs...Miller added 14 kills, three aces and five digs...Kreider added nine more kills, while Gentry had six kills and 12 digs...Sophomore Kaleb Ansell had 37 assists and 12 digs...Senior Sky Woelkers had a team-high three blocks.

Information Hodge Podge: The Chargers are now 3-0 all-time against Alvernia...Miller has double-digit kills in 15 of his 16 matches played this season...Horst's 19 kills are a career-high...The match marked the sixth time this season the Chargers have had 45 kills or more in a match...The 53 digs were just the third time this season the Chargers have posted 50 or more digs in a match.
