The Lancaster Bible College women's soccer team cracked the win column for the first time this season on Saturday, defeating St. Elizabeth, 7-0 in Morristown, N.J. The victory propels the Chargers to 1-3 this season overall and 1-1 in North Eastern Athletic Conference play.
Game Recap: Lancaster Bible, without a goal leading up to Saturday's game, opened the scoring just 7:19 into the contest, as
Bryanna Stutzman scored her first-ever collegiate goal off a rebound from aÂ
Kayla Hubbard shot.
Hubbard then scored her first-ever goal less than four minutes later, as she maneuvered through the midfield, and then scored. Maddy Miller capped the first half scoring at 24:17, as she took a pass from
Kylie Murray and scored into the lower-right side of the goal.
Samantha Koons scored 2:01 into the second half to make it 4-0, and Hubbard added her second of the contest at 49:36 off a feed from
Michaela Landis.
Julianne Miller scored over the goalkeeper's head at 66:32 for her first goal of the year, and
Kristina Reuter scored off a pass from
Karissa Akselsen at 69:23 to cap the scoring.
By the Numbers: Lancaster Bible held a 43-2 edge in shots, including a 24-2 advantage in shots on goal…The Chargers had 10 corners, while the Eagles had none…Hubbard led the way with two goals and an assist, while Koons, Maddy Miller,
Julianne Miller and
Bryanna Stutzman each added one goal…Both
Kendra Brown and
Erin Mikula played in goal for the Chargers, as Mikula made the first two saves of her collegiate career.

Information Hodge Podge: Lancaster Bible is now 8-0 all-time against St. Elizabeth…Saturday marked the final conference game between the two schools, as St. Elizabeth is departing the NEAC following this academic year…The Chargers are now 1-2 on the road this season...A dog got loose on the field during the first half, and kept running on the field for close to three minutes...According to Lancaster Bible Men's Soccer Head Coach
