The Lancaster Bible College women's soccer team dropped its second straight game on Saturday, falling to Keuka, 3-0 at Donald H. Funk Field. The Chargers are now 2-5-1 overall and 1-2-1 in North Eastern Athletic Conference play, while Wolves improved to 6-3 overall and 5-0 in NEAC action.
Game Recap: Keuka controlled much of the play all day long, including the early going, as they had two early shots on goal that were saved by Lancaster Bible goalkeeper

Keuka got on the board at 15:59, as Emily McGuigan was tripped in the box by Mikula, which resulted in a penalty kick. Julia Oglesby took the penalty kick and scored into the top-right side of the net, giving the Wolves a 1-0 advantage.
Lancaster Bible had a few offensive chances late in the first half, but none resulted in a goal, as the Charges trailed 1-0 at the break.
Much of the first 25 minutes of the second half was played in the midfield, as neither team could create many offensive chances. Keuka began to break through the Lancaster Bible defense as the Chargers pressed for the equalizer, and the Wolves extended their lead in the 74
th minute on Oglesby's second goal of the game.
Oglesby collected a loose ball just past midfield and sprinted around the Lancaster Bible defense, and then ripped a shot into the lower right-hand corner to double the Wolves' lead to 2-0.
The Chargers had a late chance on a nice shot from
Sam Koons to cut the deficit to one, but Jessica Pegg dove to make the save, and keep the lead at 2-0. Emily McGuigan then scored with two seconds to play to ice the game for Keuka.
By the Numbers: Keuka outshot the Chargers, 17-6, including 12-4 in shots on goal…Mikula finished with nine saves for the Chargers, nearly doubling her season total coming into the contest…Oglesby now has five goals this season, while McGuigan leads the Wolves with eight goals…
Kristina Reuter had a team-high three shots for the Chargers.
Information Hodge Podge: Lancaster Bible is now 6-2 all-time against Keuka after Saturday's loss…The only other time the Chargers lost to Keuka came in 2014…After scoring 13 goals in two games in victories over St. Elizabeth and Keystone, the Chargers have now gone three straight games without a goal...The Homecoming loss snapped a streak of six straight wins on Homecoming, as the Chargers are now 7-1-1 in their past nine Homecoming games.
