Big First Half Sends Red Devils Past Chargers

How it Happened: Dickinson opened the game on a 7-0 run, and Lancaster Bible didn't score its first points until the 5:36 mark when Becca Lucente netted two free throws. After trailing 23-6 after 10 minutes of play, things went from bad to worse for the Chargers in the second quarter, as Dickinson opened up a 35-8 lead midway through the quarter, and it took Lancaster Bible another 4:20 to get a bucket. Dickinson continued to pour it on, and a late bucket by Hickey cut the Red Devils' lead to 41-16 at halftime.

Dickinson continued to extend its lead in the third quarter, and took a 36-point advantage with 24 seconds to play, before Hope Hodges answered with a 3-pointer of her own in the final seconds of the third frame to make it a 56-23 game after 30 minutes. Lancaster Bible's largest deficit came midway through the fourth quarter when Dickinson took a 69-26 lead, but the Chargers fought to the final whistle, as Mekenzie Smith scored the last four points of the game for Lancaster Bible.
