The Lancaster Bible College men's soccer team snapped a three-game winless drought on Thursday night, defeating Delaware Valley, 4-1 at the Donald H. Funk Field. The Chargers are now 10-4-2 overall, while the Aggies dropped to 5-11-1 this season.

How it Happened: The Chargers jumped on the Aggies immediately, as
Rama Mugisha scored 11:15 into the contest, as he took a pass from
Chad Tolson and netted his sixth goal of the season. Lancaster Bible continued its barrage on the Delaware Valley goal with shot after shot, but the lead wouldn't grow thanks to Delaware Valley goalkeeper Josh Jarret who made several saves.

Lancaster Bible finally doubled its lead at 43:30, as
Caleb Nelson scored off a feed from
Isaac Gutierrez, and the Chargers led, 2-0 at halftime. Thomas Fitzsimmons had the Aggies first shot of the game at 48:46, but it was saved by Lancaster Bible goalkeeper
Jake Deterline.

Lancaster Bible extended its lead to 3-0 at 54:09, as Tolson scored off a pass from
Michael Eufemia. Exactly two minutes later, Mugisha scored his second of the game, as
Kedric Yoder picked up the assist, and the Chargers were on their way to a 10
th victory.

The Aggies got on the board at 72:05, as Austin Daniels netted his ninth goal of the season.

Statistically Speaking: Lancaster Bible outshot the Aggies, 23-4, including 11-2 in shots on goal…Jarret made seven saves in goal for Delaware Valley, while Deterline picked up his eighth win of the 2019 campaign…Lancaster Bible also led in corner kicks, 5-1…Mugisha leads the team with seven goals, while Tolson paces the Chargers in points with 16.
