The Lancaster Bible College women's soccer team saw its North Eastern Athletic Conference playoff chances put into jeopardy on Saturday, as the Chargers lost to SUNY Poly, 3-1 in Utica, N.Y. The loss drops the Chargers to 8-8 overall and 4-5 in conference play, while the Wildcats improved to 7-6-1 overall and 6-3 in NEAC action. Lancaster Bible is right on the bubble along with two other teams via for the last playoff spot in the NEAC postseason.

How it Happened: SUNY Poly opened the scoring just 4:36 into the contest, as Shannon Harrison scored off a feed from Sarah George. George added a goal of her own at 16:39, as she doubled the Wildcats' lead to 2-0.

The Wildcats continued to be opportunistic offensively midway through the first half, as Harrison scored again to make it 3-0 at the 27:36 mark. SUNY Poly led 3-0 through halftime, and took the first three shots of the second half, but it was Lancaster Bible who got on the board midway through the second frame, as
Bryanna Hoover scored off a pass from
Jackie Moore, and cut the Chargers' deficit to two.

The Chargers could do no more however, and lost, 3-1 in upstate New York.
