Â
The teams traded offensive chances in the second half, though there was little in the way of offense over a 25-minute span of the second frame. Late in the second half, Lancaster Bible committed a questionable foul in the box, and Penn College was awarded a penalty kick.
Â
Abby Williams converted the ensuing penalty kick try with 2:18 remaining, and though Lancaster Bible had a late corner kick try, the Chargers could not convert, and lost, 1-0.

The Coach Says: "We played really well together as a team in the second half," Lancaster Bible Head Coach
Ally Long said. "I've been so proud of the girls and how hard they battle together and encourage one another. Our ultimate goal is to be a light to those around us, and the team does that so well. We unfortunately let one call decide the game today, but that's the great thing about soccer, anyone can win one any given day. Penn College has a solid team, and we didn't take care of the chances we had earlier in the game."
