Lancaster Bible & SUNY Poly Set for NEAC Semifinals

For the sixth straight season, Lancaster Bible College men's basketball team will appear in the North Eastern Athletic Conference Final Four, as the second-seeded Chargers will meet the third-seeded SUNY Poly Wildcats in Saturday's NEAC Semifinals. Lancaster Bible has hosted four of the past six NEAC Men's Basketball Final Fours, and will play on the road in the playoffs for just the second time in the team's eight years in the conference.
 
SUNY Poly advanced to the NEAC Semifinals by defeated SUNY Cobleskill, 72-51in Tuesday's NEAC Quarterfinals, while the other NEAC Semifinal will feature top-seeded Morrisville State and the fourth-seed Penn St. Abington Nittany Lions.

Regular Season Meeting
Lancaster Bible trailed by seven, 36-29, at the half, and then by as many as nine midway through the second half, before making a run, and tying the game at 52-52 with 6:48 to play…The game remained tied in the final minutes, before a dunk by Quentin Davis put the Chargers ahead, 66-64 with 1:12 to play, and the Chargers never trailed again, as Britton Beachy and Isaac Beers sank free throws down the stretch to clinch the game…Redell Freeman had 22 points to lead the Wildcats, while Josh Gregory added 19…Benny Raymond paced the Chargers with 15 points, as he was 5-of-8 from beyond the arc…Davis had 14 points and seven boards for the Chargers, while Alex Whitt added 12 points.

SUNY Poly: The Wildcats defeated SUNY Cobleskill, 72-51 on Tuesday in Utica, N.Y…SUNY Poly led by five at halftime, and then outscored the Fighting Tigers, 45-29 in the second half to secure the victory…Gregory had 23 points in the win, while Freeman added 19 points.
 
Lancaster Bible: The Chargers earned a bye to the NEAC Semifinals thanks to winning the NEAC South Division…Lancaster Bible finished 8-2 in NEAC South Division play, and 11-5 overall in NEAC play.
