The Lancaster Bible College women's lacrosse team opened its 2019 season with a loss on Friday, as the Chargers fell to Delaware Valley, 16-4 in Doylestown, Pa. The game was the first of the year for each team, as the Chargers dropped to 0-1, and the Aggies improved to 1-0.

1st Half Highlights:
-Delaware Valley opened the scoring 34 seconds into the game as Amanda McKeegan scored for the Aggies
-The Aggies scored twice more to extend the lead to 3-0, but
Emily Morgan got the Chargers on the board 6:47 into the contest with her first goal of the season
-The next five goals belonged to Delaware Valley, and the Chargers didn't score again until there was 7:58 remaining in the half, when
Sarah Vega put home her first goal of the season
-The Aggies scored three more times in the first half, and took an 11-2 lead after 30 minutes of play

-Delaware Valley's scoring barrage continued in the early parts of the second half, as the Aggies scored five straight times to build a 16-2 lead with 19:20 remaining
-Lancaster Bible senior
Raegan Horst scored her first goal of the year with 15:56 to play, as she netted a goal off a free position shot for the Chargers
-Fellow senior
Hannah Thompson followed with a goal of her own with 14:11 remaining, as the Chargers played well over the final half of the second frame
