The Lancaster Bible College softball team split a doubleheader with St. Elizabeth on Saturday at Charger Field, as the Chargers won their first North Eastern Athletic Conference game of the season. Lancaster Bible is now 4-12 overall and 1-3 in NEAC play after Saturday's split, while St. Elizabeth is 11-5 overall and 1-1 in conference play.

Lancaster Bible 2, St. Elizabeth 1
Game Notes:
-St. Elizabeth opened the scoring in the top of the second on an RBI single, and the Eagles held the lead until the bottom of fourth when the Chargers tied the game and took the lead
-In the fourth inning,
Nicole DeKok drew a walk, and moved to second on a single from
Morgan Burkholder

Kendra Brown followed with a walk and loaded the bases for
Bryanna Hoover who singled towards second base and scored DeKok to make it a 1-1 game

Rheeana Miles grounded out to score Burkholder and give the Chargers a 2-1 lead, and after DeKok worked out of a jam in the fifth inning, she kept the St. Elizabeth bats quiet in the sixth and seventh to secure the win

-The Eagles scored once in the first and then twice more in the third to take a 3-0 lead
-St. Elizabeth tacked on two more runs in the fourth inning, as the Lancaster Bible bats fell silent in game two
-The Chargers had just one hit after the third inning, and finished with three for the game
