The Lancaster Bible College women's lacrosse team won its second straight game on Friday, defeating Hilbert, 18-4 at the Donald H. Funk Field. The Chargers are now, 3-9 overall and -2 in North Eastern Athletic Conference play, while the Hawks dropped to 0-7 overall and 0-4 in conference action.

How it Happened: Each team scored twice in the opening seven minutes of the game, as the Chargers got goals from
Raegan Horst and
Hannah Thompson. With the game tied at 2-2, Horst scored with 20:11 remaining in the half, and set off a four-goal barrage for the Chargers, as goals by Thompson,
Kaylee Boger and
Emily Morgan followed, and Lancaster Bible led, 6-2 midway through the half.

After Hilbert got a goal back, Lancaster Bible netted the final five goals of the first half, including Thompson's 50
th tally of the season, and
Cheyanne Seber's first goal of the year.

Lancaster Bible scored the first six goals of the second half as well, as
Marissa Kuhn scored her first goal of the year, as did
Amanda Hay.
Sarah Vega also scored midway through the half, and
Kaitlyn Myers finished the scoring for the Chargers.

By the Numbers: Lancaster Bible held a 41-9 advantage in shots, and a 30-7 edge in shots on goal…Lancaster Bible also held a 22-13 edge in ground balls, and won 17-of-23 draw controls…Horst finished with seven goals, an assist and four ground balls…Thompson had four goals and four assists, to go with six ground balls and six draw controls…
Kaylee Boger added a goal and an assist, while
Gabby Berry picked up her first assist…
Nicolette Statuti made three saves to secure her third win of the season.
